a right turn gone wrong.
nothing but the dust
left to fill your lungs up.
have to choke and choke and choke.
reprecussion, what got us this form, facilitation for feeling listless
reprecussion, what got us this form, facilitation for feeling listless
the son sits out in the sun.
and thats when he calls 'father'.
he realized a long time ago, hes never coming home no.
reprecussion, what got us this form, facilitation for feeling listless

General Comment:I really like munsened's idea.

But I do think it has SOME kind of smoking influence.

General Comment:people who think its about cigarettes are pretty stupid. who the hell writes a song about smoking? its more likely to be about weed cause matt was a heavy weed smoker and it can give you all those listless style feelings. yet of course it could have nothing to do with that and not be so literal. who cares, maybe it has no meaning!

General Comment:Whoever says this song is a bad Alk3 song is obviously a fan of their more "pop" work. In reality, this song is amazing and the bass work is awesome. If anyone thinks it's lyrically weak, then they aren't looking deep enough into it.

General Comment:HEY! this is one heck of a song! how can you say that this is their worst song? you have no musical sense. Even blink 182 have copied the verse guitar, listen to the "not now" song with blink. the intro is the same. Anyone else who thinks Matt sounds like the Strung Out singer in this song? Cuz I do!

General Comment:I'm quite sure the meaning of the song is as follows
The first section is all about mans fall from grace
    "a right turn gone wrong.
    nothing but the dust
left to fill your lungs up.
have to choke and choke and choke."

The following section is asking why man was punished and put into the form he is in and how it facilitates sloth.
"reprecussion, what got us this form, facilitation for feeling listless
reprecussion, what got us this form, facilitation for feeling listless"
In the next part the son is Jesus the father is God and they are saying Jesus is never going home because there is no heaven
"the son sits out in the sun.
and thats when he calls 'father'.
he realized a long time ago, hes never coming home no."

    Anyway thats my interpretation.

General Comment:such a good song, and i love the title... along with the line he son sits out in the sun.
and thats when he calls 'father'
As long as the trio keep coming up with shit like that, they will always be keeping it real... i dont care how popular they get, with lyrics like that, they arent sell outs.

General Comment:Who says it's about smoking cigarettes?
It could just be a song about decisions you've made that you wish you could take back in general.

General Comment:dude you people need to get with it... its about smoking cigarettes... they've talked about this song before...

a right turn gone wrong. smoking is fun but bad for you.

filling up with dust enough to peel your lungs up, youll have to choke and choke and choke... self explanitory.

reprecussion, what got us this form, facilitation for feeling listless. youll end up feeling really dumb when your voice goes out... its kind of a funny song since they still smoke and they wrote this song in 98
