The title "Strength Through Wounding" means that you become stronger after weathering all the adversity you may go through. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.

Anyways, thats what I get out of it, but I could be wrong. All I know is Davey writes in unspecific ways so people can get what they need from his music. And I know it's done that for me.
We all go through difficulty in life. No matter how different we may look on the outside, how different everyone may think or act, if you cut us - any of us - we bleed the same. Blood is a unifying factor in all life.

We are carried in darknes (the womb) until birth. Life comes with dazzling light and beauty. We are drawn from the dark into the light.

But life is difficult, bringing with it a series of tests. Although life is beautiful, there's still so much hurt too, that sometimes it's hard to remember the beauty.

Through the light unending pain. (The light = blood and as the blood poors out so does his pain)
Deify the wretched ones till the darkness comes again (wretched ones = what makes him cut himself and he defied them by cutting himself)
The way cutting works is when you feel bad you cut yourself and through the pain of the cut you can dump wour emotional pain onto it thus ending your pain. The only part I'm think I know what it means but not really sure is "till the darkness comes again" I know when I usually get depressed and it makes me cut myself it is at night and gives me insomnia so he is saying when tommorow rolls around he will feel the same again as cutting only helps get rid of emotional pain for a little bit.
The next line, "Through the light unending pain" is also representing their struggle against the "light."
Deify means to honor, or treat like a god, so I think it means that their summoning demons or something (wretched ones) to help them sort of "win". (the 'coming of darkness' is what represents victory.
As far as the chorus... I think it just means That they will all stand together to reach the same common goal...?
