    My Opinion:Love this song! It's definitely a "Jesse's Girl" type song.

    I think it's about a man who is friends with (or an acquaintance of) a girl although he would like it to be more. They see each other regularly - probably in passing - but every time he hurts. She obviously doesn't love him back (& may be in another relationship).

    He knows they can't be together but he's obsessed with her & pretends they're in a relationship so he feels better, but he knows it's wrong. He's trying to convince himself that he will be fine & asks for help from God.

    Amazing lyrics for a pop song.

    General Comment:I think this is one of the most powerful songs of all time. Daniel's sister, Natasha, sang this song to him as he recovered from his horiffic car accident in New Zealand. I for one am overjoyed by his swift recovery and return to the scene.

    Has anyone heard the cliff richards cover of If you're not the one? Breathtaking!!!

    General Comment:I think this song is talking about unrequited love... one big crazy love triangle. The narrarator is in love with someone, but that someone is involved with someone else. The narrarator thinks that if he could just tell the person he loves that he loves them, they could be his, but he also feels like he needs to just move on.
