I thought it was interestign when (whoever) said that this song was about Simon in the Bible. i never thought of it in that way. but i went to lifehousefans.com and it has a section where Jason interpreted his songs. and it does say for SIMON that he wrote it about a friend, who went through all this hard stuff in his childhood. dont jump to conclusions and tell off ponch when you dont know the whole story. i dont know what this song is truly about becuase i have not met Jason and asked him, until then none of us can ever be sure. i dont know if jason really wrote that stuff on the site i mentioned above. we all have diff. opinions. i think it would be cool if the song was about simon in the bible, but i still dont really see hwo it could be, it jsut doesnt seem like it beside those couple lines you mentioned. well it doesnt matter really. we love the song so who cares!

If you look at all of Jason's songs.. all of them are religiously based. You just have to look at them from that point of view. Its a great song.

im sure your good friends with jason and would know right ponch. how about you quit acting like a wack senile columbo and just listen to the song and there is no way that it could possibly be any closer to the story of simon in the bible.

i just love this song.
the lyrics are powerful, and meaningful, and no matter who it is about, i can relate to it.
it feels wonderful to see/hear your feelings are someone elses.. you dont feel so alone.

Wow, this song is really great, I can't even express the emotional impact it has on people. Although it is about Jesus, taking into your own views- it's really inspiring. This has got to be my favorite song of all time.

this song is simon, a biblical character that helped jesus carry the cross, singing about when jesus was carrying the cross to be crucified. when he says "i have felt the same" he means that he had to carry the cross, when he says "Scream out loud As you start to crawl" he is talking about when jesus fell and practically called out to him before he helped him, and when he says "Fulfillment to their lack of strength" he talks about how the pursecuted Jesus because they where afraid. i could go on but the list is way to long. if you know the part of the bible i am talking about then this will make sense.

I love this song too. I think that many people can relate to the message of this song because it's talking about someone who has been stepped on so many times and now that's all that they know. The song is comforting because through out the song, he's saying that i've felt the same way...sometimes that all we need, just to know that someone's been in the same place that we're in.

this is the song that made me buy NNF. I heard HBAM d/led this song and fell in luv with LH. This song describes everything Ive gone through these past 3 yrs. Everytime i hear it i wanna cry. Jason wrote this song perfectly. I think everyone can relate to this song no matter wut there status is at school...
