God Put A Smile Upon Your Face Lyrics
where do we go, nobody knows
i've gotta say i'm on my way down god gave me style and gave me grace and put a smile upon my face where do we go to draw the line i've gotta say, i wasted all your time, oh honey honey where do i go to fall from grace god put a smile upon your face, aww yeah ahh when you work it out i'm worse than you yeah when you work it out, i want it too now when we work out where to draw the line your guess is as good as mine... where do we go, nobody knows don't ever say you're on your way down, well god gave you style and gave you grace and put a smile upon your face |

"When you work it out I'm worse than you"- I think this is more of a personal note, saying that he has his bad times just as well as others, and it appears he's almost saying there's nothing to complain about in the last stanza, that is. Don't say your going down when there's no reason for you to be, God gave you grace. There does, however appear to be an ammount of agnostic thinking involved, which may be in simple consideration to the fact no one knows from experience.
Though, I don't know. XD

The only thing that relates this song to religion, is that it is a religious man who speaks the words (of the song).
But it is the story of a couple.
Now, what i want to ask you, is:
What means "Now when you work it out i´m worse than you,
yeah when you work it out, i want it to".
In other words, what does "work it out" means?
Is it: getting a solution? or is it: realizing?
Thaks for the help.
