    General Comment:this is a song about broken love. he meets a woman and falls in love with her. he has never felt this type of love before and considers it so strong that they are in a parallel universe. something tragic happens and he breaks the love she has for him. this is why he sais expletive 'Christ, I'm a sidewinder'. the definition of sidewinder is 'a heavy blow from the fist delivered from or on the side'. he has broken her and this breaks him. when he sais 'california king' he is trying to say that it happened because its how his life had made him and was all he knew. 'a solar system that fits in your eye' is him expressing the love that he sees in her eyes when he looks at her. she is the world to him. when he sais 'you could die but your never dead, spiderweb' he is not talking about death in the physical sense but the death of their love for each other and how it will always remain in the spritual sense. and 'in your head fields of space' is him referring that she can't see the true love that he has for her. 'physchic changes are born in your heart, entertain' he is talking about the connection that they have for each other and that it is from the heart and she should think about this. 'bless your heart girl' this is him saying he is giving his love to her. 'kill the pressure its raining on salty cheeks' is him accepting that she has resigned the love they have for each other because of what he has done to her. and when you hear this beloved song, you can feel me in your heart that i am with you. broken love from 5 percent.

    General Comment:sorry...i usually dont talk this much but i think this song worth it.I really dont think this song is about heroin, too. i believe it's about californian guy singing for a girl with deep blue eyes.look at this part:

    My Interpretation:I've personally always thought of these lyrics to be about a psychedelic experience, such as one on LSD or mescaline. I suppose it could be about any drug, though.
