    General Comment:I've always liked the fact that Billy is a strong believer in having his songs be ambiguous. He even stated once in an interview that creating your own meaning behind a song is so much more appealing than hearing the meaning and it might not be what you thought it was going to be, you don't appreciate the song as much as you did before you knew the meaning. To me this is one of those songs that can mean so many things, pleasure in pain, could be about being something you're not, ect...

    Song Meaning:I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure this song is about Billy Corgan's faith in Christianity, and how It doesn't match the life he lives as a rock star. It also talks about how we don't know for sure where we go after we pass away.

    General Comment:i think this song is about in a relationship you want the other person to change, to be like you. you want something to happen. i was like that, i didn't want the other girl to be so down and sad. i wanted people to listen to me, i thought i could change someone. i tried to tell her things, but she wouldn't believe. i knew she wasn't listening, and a lot of the things i did we just too much for her. i think it kinda says for the lines:

    "And they all want you to change
    Where are we going?"

    in bad relationships, we always destroy the other person, it doesn't do any good. i think this is a lesson for us all.

    General Comment:this song epitomizes the reason i love the pumpkins: they make these cloying, sweet little ditties such as sweet sweet and cupid de locke and afterwards they serve you x.y.u. for dessert. sweet sweet always sounded like a lullaby to me. i don't know what it's about. about agony? sadness? all the sad people in the world that drown? i love it,

    General Comment:Oh this song... The Smashing Pumpkins are my favorite band, and this is my favorite song by them. It is incredible! The meaning? Who Knows!? Do any of their songs have clear meanings? No! They're artists, that's the point. But the guitar, and his voice... ahhh... so nice...
