Hot sticky scenes you know what I mean
Like a desert sun that burns my skin
I've been waiting for her so long
Open the sky (and let her come down)
Here comes the rain I love the rain
Here she comes again
Rain
Rain
Rain

General Comment:It says on Wikipedia that "the lyrics were reportedly inspired by a Hopi rain dance". But of course, maybe that was only the starting point, and the song can be understood in two ways.

General Comment:Sex for sure. Lyrics suggest it's about a woman who squirts when she has an orgasm: "Here she comes again."

General Comment:Probably the best song on the Love album - IMHO. Based on the lack of posts on this and all of The Cult songs (also the fact that other great Cult songs aren't even listed on this site), I'd say they are very under-rated and overlooked. C'mon! Stop listening to homogenized "hit radio". It SUCKS! The Cult ROCKS!!!

General Comment:Ian lived on 7 nations indian tribal land for a few years after school before returning to England. There are alot of native american references in his music. This song is actually about sex, but makes it sound like RAIN>
