She's your cocaine
She's got you shaving your legs
You can suck anything
But you know you want to be me
Put on your makeup boy
You're your favourite stranger
And we all like to watch
So shimmy once and do it again
Bring your sister
Bring your sister if you can't handle it

She says control it
Then she says don't control it
Then she says you're controlling
The way she makes you crawl

She's your cocaine
Your exodus laughing
And she knows what you are
So shimmy once
And do it again

Bring your sister
Bring your sister if you can't handle it

If you want me to boy I could lie to you
You don't need one of these to let me inside of you
And is it true that devils end up like you
Something safe for the picture frame
And is it true that devils end up like you
So tied up you don't know how she came

She's your cocaine
She's got you shaving your legs
She got you liking mine back
Got me taking it in
Getting mine back
Lasting mine evil
I'm taking my easel
And I'm writing good checks
You sign Prince of Darkness
Try squire of dimness
Please don't help me with this

Cut it again

"There are three characters in "She's Your Cocaine" - a he and a she and the girl singing it. I haven't quite figured out if the girl singing is really pissed off that she isn't special anymore, or if she is just horrified that she put this guy on a pedestal and he's now he's chosen this thing... this girl who wouldn't even be let into a real girl's party. This... black hole of nebulai. [INT]: That isn't very sisterly of you. [Tori]: I think your own sex can see your sex for what it is. You know the tricks of your own sex. Sometimes you can put your little play glasses on and not want to see them. But I know when another woman is flirting with one of my crew - it's so obvious and yet they can't see it. They say 'oh she's so pained' or 'she's had all this stuff happen to her'. I know a girl like this - who uses her victimness to make people feel they can't do enough for her, that nothing is ever enough. And you're like an addict. You can't spill enough blood, you can't wrap your dick into seventeen different little shapes, y'know, like those balloons. 'Here... look! Puppy! Ice cream truck!' This song is my revenge. Yeah, heard that one about Trent and Courtney too. It's all rumour, but it's got some evidence to it ...

A brilliantly bitter, angry song about a man leaving you for a lesser woman. Love it.

The one telling the story is disgusted how the man is letting this horrible creature of a woman feminise him. ('she's got you shaving your legs') I guess..o.o Correct me if I'm wrong.

Aremisian, what evidence? Can you cite it? Anyway, that was kind of my idea, about a man being feminized. Only, I saw it as the girl getting her revenge on the male-chauvenistic world we still live in. I'm not saying, ALL MEN are like this but a lot of them are, & it makes her feel good to have this guy wrapped around her finger. It makes her feel good to have gained back control by dominating him, 'cause she's got something he wants. & if he wants it, he'll have to do what she says.

Song about dominance and control. I always thought of it being about a married man who will do anything to please his mistress. 'So tied up you dont know how she came' like so prepared for a life of manogamy that he didnt expect to have to resist anothers charms. Either that or its about a cross dresser lol

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
