  My Interpretation:The man who wrote the song is in love with a woman who he can not communicate with. He kicks her out, stalks her and every time he finds her she is scared and leaves. It's her fault for not allowing him or herself to try. He is so much better than what she drags him through. He lived the worst, relived by her.

  General Comment:i like nicklebakcs version better it had more depth and meaning, they werent just singing it , they had a reason. Sum 41s version is lets just sign this song and get it over with. there was nothing wrong with nicklebacks verion and bands shouls write their own songs unless thy redo a really really old song which needs to be brought back to life but this song was already good and has way more like then when sum sings it. Dont get me wrong i love Sum but still i think nickleback deserves the props on this song. Sum kinda ruined it
