this is the sweetest song! if i heard this last time i got in a huge fight with one on my friends i wouldve related to everything, but i think it has to do with someone whos gotten in a fight with someone else, like maybe taken their anger out on them, and they feelign bad being it hurts them that they hurt someone they loved, and even though they arent fighting, theyre both still hurt

This song is just simply about forgiveness and realizing when you really mess up in a friendship. I'm in love with it. Evanescence = Amazing! <3

This song makes me want to cry. It reminds me entirely too much of someone in my past. I desperately want him to forgive me for fucking things between us up, but he won't. I love Evanescence, they are one of the most beautiful bands I have ever heard.

this song makes you think about when you fight the hardest is not to forget but the first thing is much harder to do is forgive that person and this song fits the bill.

I love this song, i can totally relate to it,
to me it sounds like a girl who has a great love but whenever she makes a mistake shes scard (or however u spell it! we cant all be good at everything!!!!) he'll leave her, even though she knows he really wont.

This was actually one of the first songs I heard from Evanescence the first time was like WOW! Ever since I still have the same reaction to it when I listen. Actually at one point I listened to this song I cried because of the situation I was, and still am, in. It's getting beter though I promise

this song just speaks to me, i swear it is my song, because i keep my emotions bottled up and then i totally rheem the wrong person, so i definatly think it's about a girl who just can't figure out why the guy she's with keep forgiving her, though she's glad he does cause she's so in love with him

I think everyone can relate to this song in some way. I know i can be an asshole to the people i love and this song always seems to fit. I love this song. Evanescence have a wonderful habit for just getting it right. 'Forgive Me' is a beautiful song and of course, Amy Lee's vocals make it even more beautiful.

i think its a song of where she gets in a fight with this guy, and she says things which she didnt mean, and realised her mistake when she said them. and now shes begging for forgivness, because shes so scared to lose him

This is one of those very few songs that is easy to love the first time you hear it. I love it!! I really relate to it, the lyrics are amazing, so touching. Amy's vocals are truely amazing aswell, Evanescence are one of the most amazing bands.

Though i hear they are splitting up,,,? Anyone know anything bout that? I'm not sure.

What site can you get this on? I have Origin and Fallen, and I can't find any other CDs (I know there are some, but I have no money...)
I love the song. And I agree, it's about somebody who had an argument and said something they didn't mean which hurt the person. And now they regret it. A lot.

I love this song so much - you can hear the emotion in her voice when she sings "You look in my eyes and I'm screaming inside that I'm sorry"

After being in a relationship for 9 ugly years, and having everything built up inside to say the cruedest remarks, i am able now to be in love without fear, yes it takes second to step back before saying hurtful thigs, You may forget what you've said... but your loved one will live with that forever.... and unlike the song leave you. Appreciate what you have folks

Actually, it seems to not be about some stupid boy, but rather about a friend. A person and her friend got into an argument, and she accidently said something she didn't mean. Now she really, really wants forgiveness.

When my best friend and I were in a fight, I played this song on my guitar (and sang the lyrics) for him.

A truly good and sweet song, but not my favorite. I love the meaning...great to use as making-up after a fight!

The powerful line is where Amy sings "you look in my eyes and im screaming inside that im sorry"

Evanescence was (and still is) on a christian label when this song was released, so if you look at this song from a christian viewpoint maybe you'll find the true meaning.

Reminds me when I was first in love and I got into a small fight with my boyfriend... I thought it was the end of the world but it was all really just in my mind..

i don´t know but this song could also be about, 2 best friends, or maybe about a boy and a girl in a relationship...and they had a fight, so she says very hurtfull things to him,then he has an accident, and he´s in comma or something..and that´s why she´s screaming inside that she´s sorry...
