Sweet wonderful you
You make me happy with the things you do
Oh, can it be so
This feeling follows me wherever I go

I never did believe in miracles
But I've a feeling it's time to try
I never did believe in the ways of magic
But I'm beginning to wonder why

I never did believe in miracles
But I've a feeling it's time to try
I never did believe in the ways of magic
But I'm beginning to wonder why

Don't, don't break the spell
It would be different and you know it will
You, you make loving fun
And I don't have to tell you but you're the only one

You, you make loving fun
It's all I want to do
You, you make loving fun
It's all I want to do
You, you make loving fun
It's all I want to do
You, you make loving fun
It's all I want to do

I wish I wrote this song about someone.. This song has a gravity of sexiness it brings. Its about being in love so much it feels like someone has put a love spell on you. Its about having fun in a relationship... My favorite lyric "And I don't have to tell you you're the only one" such a sweet pasionate song...Where is that woman?

Call me crass (go ahead!) but it sounds as if Christine found someone competent in bed, and finally had her first orgasm.

From today's perspective it may sound ridiculous: a member of a touring rock band who lacked that kind of experience?? But in the mid-'70s many women were discovering the same thing. Books were written on the subject, and magazines such as Cosmopolitan often seemed to be concerned with little else.

Why? Increasing recognition of a simple fact: vanilla, missionary-position lovemaking left many women unsatisfied. (While their husbands nodded off, afterward...)

I concede my interpretation is influenced by having briefly attained something akin to satori, not long ago. I'd felt a deep sense of the interconnected energy flowing through all things. No, I wasn't tripping.

To a friend--whose visionary guidance, subtly and over a long period of time, had shown me what was possible--I described the experience as "losing my spiritual virginity."

Although the mystical awakening was brief--lasting no more than five minutes--for the next week or two I was walking on air, feeling profoundly changed.

You can imagine, then, how these lines were relevant:

Can it be so? This feeling follows me wherever I go. I never did believe in miracles, But I've a feeling it's time to try. I never did believe in the ways of magic, But I'm beginning to wonder why.

HA! You optimists. This song is not about some magical long lasting love. It's about an affair between Christine McVie and the lighting director. Puts a bit of a different perspective on the song.

Yeah but to say it doesn't measure up to her is like comparing chalk and cheese. Very different styles. I love both Stevie and Christine's talents within writing for Fleetwood Mac. And this song is great. I love the harmony in the background. And if you want confirmation of Christine McVie's writing talent... check out Songbird. She wrote that masterpiece.

its obviously about someone she loves..or fell deeply in love with..and where she says "dont dont break the spell" shes telling him not to ever leave her or break up...but yeah pretty much self-explained.. this is probably my favorite Fleetwood Mac song...and i adore the lyrics...they seem so passionate and full of love and mystery..and i want to dedicate this to my one and only true love...even tho we are not together anymore..just want him to kno this is how he makes me feel.. ily[still] sn

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
