Love this song. People are way too desperate to have everyone fit into a category neatly. Including you punk rock kids. Sorry, its true.
Lables are for consumer products and moving boxes. Not for people.
The song is about doing whatever you want to do and dressing however you want and saying the things you feel as long as you do it in exactly the same way as the other "alternative" kids. That's what it states, I don't see how you can see it otherwise.
Don't get me wrong, I like Blink, I used to listen to them a lot as a teenager and they've still got a fond place for me. And I even like this song, but mostly because it's message is so utterly self-unaware it's quite funny.
Don't hate us just because we're part of a group that thinks differently to you.
