Cabron
Cabron
Cabron
Cabron

I see you in the park
You're always wearing Dodger blue
My dog and me
And anyone from any other crew
I am small but I am strong
I'll get it on with you
If you want me to
What else can I do
Everyone would take a cue from anything you do
If you want them to
What else can it do
I dont' want to fight
I want to get along with you
This time of nights for singing songs about the local news

Cabron
Cabron
Cabron
Cabron

I come around and make peace get down have a barbecue
Let’s keep the moon awake and do electric boogaloo
I am small but I am strong
You see I’m just like you
If you only knew
That I’m just like you
All the world would take a cue from anything you do
If you only knew
That they’re just like you
I don’t want to fight
I want to get along with you
This time of nights for singing songs about the local news

I don’t want to fight
I want to get along with you
This time of nights for singing songs about the local news

Cabron
Cabron

Cabron
Cabron

Cabron
Cabron

Cabron
Cabron
If you want me too
What else can I do
Cause I’m just like you
If you only knew

Cabron
Cabron

General Comment:By the Way is their greatest album to date! Lyric-wise is phenomenal and the depth of these songs musically is over the top. The song are played with such passion that I haven't been able to find on another rhcp album. I know a lot would argue that Stadium Arcadium is the best one, but I beg to differ. Yes Stadium Arcadium is obviously a masterpiece but it has something missing which is the great lyrics that were featured on By the Way. Now, I'm With You, I believe that is grand on the scale that is so much bigger than anything they ever done. Musically, the album takes you over a wide range of different musical stylings and the way it is composed and arranged would make anyone's heart melt. But call me old fashion, (not really, I'm only 18), By the Way is still one of the greatest piece of music I ever heard.

General Comment:Wow, I can't believe nobody got this. This song is clearly about late-night gay sex romps in public parks by gang members (a known phenomenon, by the way).

The lyrics as posted here are incorrect -- for example, the 7th and 8th lines should read: "Mad-doggin' me \ And anyone from any other crew." "Mad-dogging," per urbandictionary.com, refers to an aggressive gaze men use to seduce other men in public spaces.

Notice, the following lines are: "I am small but I am strong \ I'll get it on with you \ If you want me to." The signer wants to have sex with the unnamed cabron.

All in all, a fresh and adventurous theme for RHCP.

General Comment:anthony definitely sings 'dodger blue' when they perform this song live. have a look at a video of a live performance on youtube... should put that argument to rest. personally, i adore john's guitar work and back-up vox in this one.
