Lyrics for Cabron as interpreted by pot

Cabron Lyrics
Cabron
Cabron
Cabron
Cabron

I see you in the park
You're always wearing Dodger blue
My dog and me
And anyone from any other crew
I am small but I am strong
I'll get it on with you
If you want me to
What else can I do
Everyone would take a cue from anything you do
If you want them to
What else can it do
I dont' want to fight
I want to get along with you
This time of nights for singing songs about the local news

Cabron
Cabron
Cabron
Cabron

I come around and make peace get down have a barbecue
Let’s keep the moon awake and do electric boogaloo
I am small but I am strong
You see I’m just like you
If you only knew
That I’m just like you
All the world would take a cue from anything you do
If you only knew
That they’re just like you
I don’t want to fight
I want to get along with you
This time of nights for singing songs about the local news

I don’t want to fight
I want to get along with you
This time of nights for singing songs about the local news

Cabron
Cabron

Cabron
Cabron

Cabron
Cabron

Cabron
Cabron
If you want me too
What else can I do
Cause I’m just like you
If you only knew

Cabron
Cabron

Isn't that a bit obvious? Besides I read an interview with Anthony Kiedis, here's what he said (something like this) : "It(the song) tells about a big mean dude in the park bullying other people, but it's also about the way USA behaves globally."

Yep. The Lyrics Are Wrong--
wearing dark or blue = wearing dodger blue
My dawg and me = mack doggin' (like, picking on)

Those Are The Only 2 I Noticed.

This time of nights for singing songs about the love from you
this should actually be:
This time of nights for singing songs about the local news

that's what the book says.

although i love blood sugar sex magik and their days of funk metal - i love this song, a lot. except the "electric boogaloo" line, it bugs me for some reason. it takes the seriousness away from it.

i think you guys are totally right about the lyrics. gangs and stuff like that.

for some reason, the song reminds me of PEA from ONE HOT MINUTE.

"im small but im strong"
"i wanna get along with you". its like the opposite of PEA

right?

cabron technically is spanish for 'bastard'..at least that's what the dictionary says. Flea is a fluent speaker of spanish so that's probably where it came from..

umm well there are many different takes on it...

it could be about a gay person (cabron also means faggot). someone picking on them.
it could be about gangs (dodger blue being the gang colour)
or bullying.
personally i think its about gangs. but dunno

anthony kiedis said in an interview that cabron meant motherfucker, but it could be used in an affectionate way, to your friends.

This song reminds me of Tony Hawk's skate park tour, whatever that show's called. There was an episode I saw once and they were singing it on the bus. Yep. Thats my story.
