She keeps her Moët et Chandon
In her pretty cabinet
"Let them eat cake," she says
Just like Marie Antoinette
A built-in remedy
For Khrushchev and Kennedy
At anytime an invitation
You can't decline

Caviar and cigarettes
Well versed in etiquette
Extraordinarily nice

She's a Killer Queen
Gunpowder, gelatine
Dynamite with a laser beam
Guaranteed to blow your mind
Anytime

Recommended at the price
Insatiable an appetite
Wanna try?

To avoid complications
She never kept the same address
In conversation
She spoke just like a baroness
Met a man from China
Went down to Geisha Minah
Then again incidentally
If you're that way inclined

Perfume came naturally from Paris (naturally)
For cars she couldn't care less
Fastidious and precise

She's a Killer Queen
Gunpowder, gelatine
Dynamite with a laser beam
Guaranteed to blow your mind
Anytime

Drop of a hat she's as willing as
Playful as a pussy cat
Then momentarily out of action
Temporarily out of gas
To absolutely drive you wild, wild
She's out to get you

She's a Killer Queen
Gunpowder, gelatine
Dynamite with a laser beam
Guaranteed to blow your mind
Anytime

Recommended at the price
Insatiable an appetite
Wanna try?
You wanna try

    Moet=Male poet Chandon sexual intercourse

She keeps Moet et Chandon she keeps a poet and lover

In her pretty cabinet  Very close at hand

'Let them eat cake' she says  "Them" most likely refers to her husband.

Just like Marie Antoinette  She's obviously denying sex to her husband A built-in remedy A built-in remedy means her lover works for her

For Khrushchev and Kennedy  Her husband's probably some old fat rich old money bastard

At anytime an invitation You can't decline  Her poet lover obviously works for her because he cannot decline

Caviar and cigarettes Well versed in etiquette Extraordinarily nice

Freddie Mercury is singing as her lover and he's singing about their times together. With all the crazy sex

[Chorus]  She's a Killer Queen Gunpowder, gelatine Dynamite with a laser beam Guaranteed to blow your mind  Anytime

[Post-Chorus] Recommended at the price  Insatiable an appetite Hers Want to try?  Obviously her lover is just in it for the fun and is apparently open to try.

[Verse 2] To avoid complications She never kept the same address  This is a rich woman chillin at the finest hotels but she won't stay at them twice, probably because she never knows which guys she will be with.

In conversation She spoke just like a baroness Met a man from China

The poet is talking about something him and his lover did when they met a man from China the man tells them about this geisha named minha

Went down to Geisha Minah  Geisha Minha, Minha is a Japanese girls name it means; lost.
Many people dont know the geisha use to always be male, and it's not unusual for a geisha to be male.

(Killer, killer, she's a killer Queen) Then again incidentally If you're that way inclined

Incidentally if you're that way inclined towards male geishas Apparently Freddy recommends it.

Perfume came naturally from Paris (naturally)

okay we get it she's rich

For cars she couldn't care less

She doesn't like cars but maybe that's where she meets her lover? Fastidious and precise She's always going to keep herself well groomed no semen stains on the clothes. She's very careful.

[Chorus]  She's a Killer Queen Gunpowder, gelatine Dynamite with a laser beam Guaranteed to blow your mind Anytime

    [Guitar Solo]

[Bridge] Drop of a hat she's as willing as Playful as a pussy cat

    What a good girl

    Then momentarily out of action

car is parked on the side of the road

    Temporarily out of gas

Here we find out her poet lover is her driver

To absolutely drive you wild, wild She's all out to get you

[Chorus]  She's a Killer Queen Gunpowder, gelatine Dynamite with a laser beam Guaranteed to blow your mind Anytime

[Outro] Recommended at the price Insatiable an appetite Want to try?  Want to try?

He reuses the verse melody from the previous album's "Dirty Little Religion", the topics of the verses are all over the place, and he packs too many words into one line (goes to show...) and too few in another (it's pretty hard to find), and rhymes "Henley Regatta" with "Persona non grata", but gets away with it all as only he could.

Like a lot of the other comments are saying, I think this mainly about voyeurism. If the song was about his girlfriend, then why would he use the word spy. If you are a spy it means you shouldn't be caught, that is kind of the whole point, and if you are a voyeur, the whole point of the pleasure you get from it, is the fact that the other people don't know you are watching them. See a bit of a connection there?

Both as a standalone and as part of the DSOTS album, you can take this lyric as read. As a matter of public record, Jourgensen's drug intake was legendary even in the 1980s. By the late 90s, in his own words, he was grappling with massive addiction issues and had lost almost everything: friends, spouse, money and had nearly died more than once. "Dark Side of the Spoon" is a both funny & sad title for an album made by a musical genius who was losing the plot; and this song is a message to his fans & friends saying he knows it. It's painful to listen to so I'm glad the "Keith Richards of industrial metals" wised up and cleaned up. Well done sir.

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
