Lyrics for Fat Bottomed Girls as interpreted by Novartza

Fat Bottomed Girls Lyrics
Are you gonna take me home tonight
Ah, down beside that red firelight
Are you gonna let it all hang out
Fat bottomed girls, you make the rockin world go round

Hey, I was just a skinny lad
Never knew no good from bad
But I knew life before I left my nursery
Left alone with big fat Fanny
She was such a naughty nanny
Heap big woman, you made a bad boy out of me, Hey hey!

I've been singing with my band
Across the wire, across the land
I seen every blue eyed floozy on the way
But their beauty and their style
Went kind of smooth after a while
Take me to them dirty ladies everytime, come on

Oh, won't you take me home tonight
Oh, down beside your red firelight
Oh, and you give it all you got
Fat bottomed girls, you make the rockin world go round (twice)

Hey, listen here
Now your mortgages and homes
I've got stiffness in your bones
Ain't no beauty queens in this locality (I tell you)
Oh, but I still get my pleasure
Still get my greatest treasure
Heap big woman you gonna make a big man out of me

Oh, you gonna take me home tonight (please)
Oh, down beside that red firelight
Oh, you gonna let it all hang out
Fat bottomed girls you make the rockin world go round
(2 times)
Get on your bikes and ride
Fat bottomed girls (2 times)

I would say it relates to Whole Lotta Rosie. FBM was witten in 1978, a year after Whole Lotta Roise and just when AC/DC were beginning to make an international impact. Fat Bottomed Girls is also very close to AC/DC anyway (I mean, for a Queen song) So it could be atribute to AC/DC. I tcould also be a tribute to Aerosmith. I mean, whilst this isn't too much of an Aerosmith-style song it could have some similarities. That and Queen and Aerosmith were also very close friends.

I never liked Queen either. That is not to say that I hated them. No.
The good songs were few and far between. Contrasted with the amount of publicity they had, this made no sense.
This is one of the truly good songs though.
Fat bottom girls refers to all girls. By nature females are created with broader hips that boys.
Funny Freddy done it again with this "my first time" tale.

What does the "Down beside that red fire light" mean?

Use your imagination !

Maybe Freddy heard this tale from some old gezzer who was around when gas street lights were common.

Until reading the lyrics I always thought he said "I have mortgages and home and have stiffness in my balls." Instead of stiffness in my bones. I think stiffness in my balls would have made more sense. hahahahaha

Songs like this are confusing to me because the title implies that it's going to be about women with "ample" behinds. However, the lyrics suggest that the narrator is a skinny guy who likes bigger ladies.

Also, the line "Ain't no beauty queens in this locality" is weird, because I don't know if it's an insult or just pointing out that not all women have to be like that to be attractive or whatever. I have no idea but I always apply it to girls with big butts because that's what I like.

I love this song, let me say that first, but I'm a little confused as to why Freddie Mercury would be singing about girls at all?!? Kinda ironic, no?

Have you ever met one of the girls that this song is describing? They're such fucking WHORES. In both ways, the biggest sluts you will ever meet. I worked with one who had sex with all the mexicans, and she couldn't even speak spanish. I had standards but had I said, "yo, come back to my car and suck my dick," its guaranteed she would've done it.

There's a deeper meaning in it, but it's mostly superficial. NOT a bad thing. xD

To hell with anorexia, this here's a shoutout to all the show-offey girls who get the grove that a nice back curve beats the out bony hips any day of the week.

The key to what turns out to be a tragic song is the line: Hey, I was just a skinny lad
Never knew no good from bad
But I knew life before I left my nursery
Left alone with big fat Fanny
She was such a naughty nanny
Heap big woman, you made a bad boy out of me, Hey hey!

Freddie Mercury was obviously abused as a child. His behavior later on in life reflects this reality. That's the truth gang.

This is an incredible song musically, but it's a sad song nonetheless.

I think anyone who's ever experienced sex at a young age knows there's something off about it but there's that feeling about being made into a man too. Most guys I know who went through that never complained, myself included.

This song was written by Brian May, so you can't read anything of Freddie into it.

"I'm a little confused as to why Freddie Mercury would be singing about girls at all?!? Kinda ironic, no? "

No, not really. Freddie write a whole bunch of songs about his girlfriend, Mary Austin, including "Love Of My Life" and "You're My Best Friend". He also left her all the money when he died.

This song is about big fat harley chicks!! If you have a brain you'll hear motorcycle references through the whole song. Hard to believe people are stupid enough to discuss this, because most of you are old enough to know but it's common sense anyway. Think I'll go to a site without retards. Later SPEDS.
