i think it is described as a man getting hit by a car, and the guys in the car get out to help him but instead get back in the car and drive off, and then i guess years later he gets revenge
This is about a man who travels through time and sees the end of the world. On his way back to Earth to warn the human race, he goes through a magnetic storm and is turned to iron. Nobody believes him about the end of the world and he gets mad, taking his rage out on the human race, thus bringing about the end of the world that he saw.
If you don't understand the song, then don't listen to it.....Oh and the songs not about the Hero Iron Man.....any one who thinks that isn't a Metal Fan.

A brilliant scientist from the future who saved the last remaining members of mankind through some technology or cloaking device to hide from the robots or like a pill that feeds people for years or some kind of invention in the future that saved man kind

He travels back in time to prevent this robotic uprising from happening , in travelling back in time he becomes deformed tries to enlist the help of the worlds scientists but they think he is mad and has lost his mind and refuse to stop building advanced machines so he tries to get his revenge by destroying these machines with a super weapon when they finally uprise.
This brilliant scientist tries by himself to create a super weapon back in the past but something goes terribly wrong (such as a nuclear meltdown accident on creating this technology or like the Hadron Collider, a black hole swallows the earth or even a signal jammer for this robot jams all human technology for food and kills the whole human race) in the process of creating this super weapon to counter the robotic uprising and destroys all mankind which he in the future saved through some kind of vital invention, so In the end he didnt change the future where the robots would have wiped out humans anyway he killed them this time.
Lyrics support my idea alright, the Iron man bits and Robots having thoughts is why I think its like this, from the opening lyrics and the lyrics support a lot of my story
But its just a bit of a far out there interpretation really
