  General Comment:this song always reminds me of my aunt june who died somewhat recently. it makes me somewhat sad and then somewhat happy at the same time.

  General Comment:To me this song is a kind of suicide note to a former lover. "I hope you make it soon" symbolises that they'll be together again in death. "I'm wishing you're there too" gives me Romeo & Juliet-vibes - what he really wanted was for her to die with him (or probably right before he leaves this world).

  General Comment:I feel this song is a ballad of hope and yearning for a goal. Perhaps leaving for a distant place or new home. Going to the moon is maybe a metaphor for a dark, mysterious destination. The main lyric and title suggests that you're leaving behind someone, something.
