All you gotta do is walk away and pass me by
Don't acknowledge my smile when I try to say hello to you, yeah
And all you gotta do is not answer my calls when
I'm trying to get through
To keep me wondering why, when all I can do is sigh
I just want to touch you

[Chorus]
I just want to touch and kiss
And I wish that I could be with you tonight
You give me butterflies inside, inside and I

All I gotta say is that I must be dreaming, can't be real
You're not here with me, still I can feel you near me
I caress you, let you taste us, just so blissful listen
I would give you anything baby, just make my dreams come true
Oh baby you give me butterflies

[Chorus: x2]
I just want to touch and kiss
And I wish that I could be with you tonight
You give me butterflies inside, inside and I

If you would take my hand, baby I would show you
Guide you to the light babe
If you would be my love, baby I will love you, love you
'Til the end of time

[Chorus: x3]

General Comment:This song, reminds me a lot of the art of flirtation and seduction... and all the flutters that come with it... where the guy is smitten and emboldened, and the girl is playing hard to get. MJ has given a wonderful groove to the song, proving how, despite a 3 year hiatus from the music business that he is still master at his own game. The vocals at the ending... is a testament to his unchallenged status as the King of Pop.. reading the lyrics (song lyrics were created by Floetry) alone does not do justice to the song, to appreciate mj, you have to listen to the man whip it out with his flighty soothing vocals, and his genius ability to come up with harmony..

judging from the lyrics itself.. it seems that the central theme here is passionate lust, but mj being the king of lyrical interpretation, sings it with so much conviction and passion that it gives the song an added dimension.. almost like he wants more than just lust, he really wants love.

General Comment:I love this song, one of my (many) MJ favourites. I love how his vocals are memetic of the song title, how his voice rises and flutters like butterfly wings and rises into a beautiful high.

I love it! I wonder what a video would have been like...
