  As I walked through the door
  Was a sign on the wall that read
  It said you might never know
  That I want you to know
  What is written inside of your head
  
  And time as it stands
  Won't be held in my hands
  Or living inside of my skin
  And as it fell from the sky
  I asked myself why
  Can I never let anyone in ?
  
  That is my favouite part of the song
  and on the cd it is cool cause its hey now then the swamp song part one
  then a nother good song called some might say

  General Comment:i think this songs about realising how much things have changed and realising that changes mean changes, so if something happened years ago, it wont happen anymore because so many things have changed. i also think its outlining the way things have changed round noel and when he looks back, it realy makes him think, which is why, to me a lot of the lyrics are like self questioning. very underrated

  General Comment:In my opinion, I hate it when people refer to tracks as "fillers," it simply shows how they don't appreciate certain music.
  
  I LOVE this song, probably even more than Wonderwall. This song isn't completely underappreciated, and probably skipped by many of those playing the CD. Sad.... such a beautiful song.

  General Comment:The song is about the band becoming famous and the things that happened to them.
  
  In the first verse he is talking about the fame that they got so quickly. And finding it hard to get 'back down to earth' and communicate with other non famous people.
  
  In th next two verses he is feeling the emotion that I would imagien all famous people feel. What else can I do? Is this my peak? And someone says to him 'there's no time for running away'.
  
  Feel no shame is about not feeling guilty just because you are rich and succesful. It just happens to some people.
  
  Then after that is just the same really. My favourite part of the sogn is 'as i feel from the sky i asked myself why can't i ever let anyone in' This is just talkign about how h started to find it how hard it is to trust people.
  
  Good song.

  General Comment:I agree this is the most underrated Oasis song. It's really great. I think what I like the most is the way Liam sings the verses. I like the verses more than the chorus.

  General Comment:i think it means he is thinking about life before he was famous and also how he cant control time but i think often times oasis songs arent all about one thing as many great songs arent so you cant just base the entire song meaning on one lyric.
