A Box Full of Sharp Objects

Oooh... I think in my view I can simplify this down to one sentence...

That no matter what, times are always going to get better as long as you keep on going.

The chorus explains it all.

"today i fell and felt better just knowing this matters, i just feel stronger.. and sharper! i found a box of sharp objects, what a beautiful thing"

It's like after you fall and you realize the situation you always feel better. Nothing weighs you down permanently into a sinking rock in the water, unless you let it. That even in finding a box of sharp objects that pokes you, you learn to be stronger, sharper, and resilient.

"we've fallen in love.. we fall in love.. it was the best idea i ever had"

I love this line because how many people who are not in a beautiful, loving relationship feel that love has been a good thing? Zero, right?!

But then if you can recall the times you were in love, it was never a bad moment in itself. It might have ended badly or there might be bad reasons why it couldn't be, but never a bad thing.

This lyric literally sings out to me, saying to accept that fact that we chose to love throughout times where it maybe even led to hurt... and that it was the best idea ever just to experience.
