I like the theory of it being about the media but I was just wondering if there are any others out there? It always confused me a bit... I didn't know if he was singing about a girl or their relationship or what. The media fits the most but just curious if anyone has any other info on it?
Get off the band wagon people and go see some real movies. Just cause it's the only movie you've seen that wasn't sponsored by disney and Mcdonalds, doens't mean it's the best movie ever made. I've seen it twice. It was okay, but there are much better movies out there.
As for the song, it's great, and the band is awesome. Id go re-live the eighties again just because of these guys... and perhaps Back to the Future
Sorry about that, I don't usualy yell at people, but I make exceptions, 'cause even if I was a fanboy, it's a good movie.
But enough! It's a great song. One that creeps me out, but one I also love. Duran Duran's not as bad as everyone thinks, give it a chance.
