Chinese Democracy Lyrics
It don't really matter
You'll find out for yourself
No it don't really matter
You're gonna leave these thing to
Somebody else

If they missionaries
Real time visionaries
Sitting in a Chinese stew
To view my dis-infatu-ation
I know that I'm a classic case
Watch my disenchanted face
Blame it on the Falun Gong*
They've seen the end and you can't hold on now

Cause it would take a lot more hate than you
To stop the fascination
Even with an iron fist
Our baby got to rule the nation
But all I got is precious time

It don't really matter
You're gonna find out for yourself
No it don't really matter
So you can hear now from
Somebody else

Cause it would take a lot more time than you
I've got more masturbation
Even with your iron fist
Our baby got to rule the nation but all I got is
Precious time
Our baby got to rule the nation but all I got is
Precious time

It don't really matter
Gonna keep it to myself
No it don't really matter
So you can hear it now from
Somebody else

You think you got it all locked up inside
And if you beat them all up they'll die
Then you'll walk them home for the cells
Then now you'll dig for your road back to hell
And with your ? makes you stop
As if your eyes were their eyes you can tell
In your lack of time

I am from China and I have no idea what this song is about. I agree with an earlier poster, Axl doesn't even have an arguement here. He is basically just throwing out a bunch of buzz words, "iron fist", "locked up", 'FaLun Gun'. It's like Sarah Palin talking about economy. As far as bashing Chinese government goes, IMHO Roger Waters' "Watching TV" is far more intellectually interesting.

This is a pretty cool site ESPECIALLY if you are a teenager but make sure you read the tips and information they have posted in the forum to help you out. It's a pretty easy way to make some extra money every month.

$35.00 in two weeks, you think YOU
can beat ME?

Wow, what a let down Chinese Democracy was in the end. It's slightly ridiculous to wait so long for an album that just makes you sick in the end. My congratulations to Mr Rose for taking down the name Guns N Roses with him. He must be proud. I end with a quote from the times:
"The most remarkable thing about this album is the fact that it exists at all."

Is it just me is there an ironic twist to the fact that this album is called Chinese Democracy?

Somehow I don't think this has anything to do with the chinese government. Then again, only fools assume.

you fucking dick, you are clearly a narrowminded cunt. slash duff and izzy are in a new band - so what. Just because axl's staying in g n’ r doesn’t mean the music he makes can’t be appreciated. It is clearly a good song, get over the fact slash isn’t in the band anymore. He’s not trying to recreate the old g n’ r, what band tries to recreate their old music? Every new album from a band is different whislt still tryig to stay true to their former music – this is still clearly guns n roses because of axls voice. So what if he is a prick, it’s the music we listen to. And it is a fucking good album, granted it’s not nearly the best roses stuff but it can still be appreciated. You clearly do not know your stuff about music; buckethead is a superb guitarist. Youtube him. ignorant!

these lyrics are very wrong too

The movie Kundun was on about the Dalai Lama. I was getting ready to leave, the TV was on and it was the end of the movie. And the Dalai Lama is about to cross over the border, to you know, be in exile for the rest of his life from his own country. And he looks back at the men who helped him, and you know he’s escaped the Chinese government. And he looks back at them and he waves and they wave at him. And then they show a scene where he looks back at them again and he sees every one of them dead. Because he knew they would be killed, and they knew that in helping him they would be killed. And you know the emotion in this next song, that’s all that’s about. It’s not like an intelligent song. It doesn’t have the answer to anything. And it's not necessarily pro or con about China. It's just that right now China symbolizes one of the strongest, yet most oppressive countries and governments in the world. And we are fortunate to live in a free country. And so in thinking about that it just kinda upset me, and we wrote this little song called "Chinese Democracy."
