    General Comment:I think its about someone thats sick of hearing everyones pathetic little problems and wish they would just shut up so the person can relax and not have to listen to it.

    General Comment:This song to means if your life sucks, get over it. Your problems aren't important.
    In the verses it's saying how crappily this person sees his life and in the chorus it's saying just get over it.
    That's the way I see it. I love this song, I might add.

    General Comment:I heard this song such a long time ago way before they became synonymous with treadmills. The meaning is obvious; too much time is spent whining and complaining (I know I am guilty of it) when we should just get over it and move on. My favorite OK Go song.

    It's about stopping feeling like a victim and taking responsibility for what happens to you.
    It's about being honest to yourself about what got you where you are.

    General Comment:I think osubuckeye420, on the first page, explained the song best. I usually use GetOverIt, or variations of it, as my screenname on most sites, and when I was google-ing it and I found this song on last.fm. This song explains all the reasons that I use it as a screenname.

    General Comment:does anyone know what "body like a battleaxe" means?? i thought i knew what battleaxe meant but it doesn't seem to fit...?! or do they mean a battle axe as in an actual axe?!

    otherwise i think it's just about someone who sees all the bad things in life - big and small - and also feels like they can do no wrong and that all these bad things are because of someone else.

    General Comment:This song is so amazing. Absolutely dripping with sarcasm in the verses with a chorus that gets right to the point. I can't tell you how many times this song runs through my head while im listening to other people complain about petty problems. I'd just love to burst out singing it sometime while someones bitching about something stupid to me
