I could see it was a rough-cut Tuesday
Slow-motion weekdays stare me down
Her lipstick reflex got me wound
There were no defects to be found
Snapshot image froze without a sound

Thursday morning was a hot flash-factor
Her face still focused in my mind
Test-strip proof-sheet love is hard to find
Friday night we'll dance the spotlight grind
Stop-time heart for me if she's not mine

[Chorus]
Freeze-frame! (Freeze-frame!) [Repeat x2]
Freeze-frame! Now Freeze!

Now I'm lookin' at a flashback Sunday
Zoom lens feelings just won't disappear
Close-up darkroom sweet-talk in my ear
Her hot-spot love for me is strong
This freeze-frame moment can't be wrong

[Chorus]
Freeze frame

General Comment:What do you mean you don't like the lyrics??? These are great lyrics.
My take is that the whole song is kind of a play on words incorporating photography terminology with thoughts/comments about a girl. Almost every line uses some sort of photography terminology from: rough-cut to reflex to snapshot image froze to hot-spot to zoom lens, etc. etc.
Some of the phrases also of course have double meanings such as "her hot spot love" .
Though I don't see any deeper meaning to the song than what I've outlined. Does anyone know any additional background for this song? Was there a particular girl? Was the writer of the song a big photog?

General Comment:I don't particularly care for the lyrics but it's a fun song. A good one to remember when you're shooting a gun.
