I, hate the rain and sunny weather,
And I, hate the beach and mountains too
(And) I don't like a thing about the city, no, no
And I, I, I, hate the country side too!

And I, hate everything about you!
Everything about you!

I don't like a thing about your mother,
And I, I hate your daddy's guts too,
I don't like a thing about your sister, no, no
'Cause I, I, I, think sex is overrated too.

And I, get sick when I'm around,
I, can't stand to be around
I, hate everything about you!
Everything about you, everything about you,
Everything about you

Some say I got a bad attitude,
But that don't change the way I feel about you,
If you think all this might be bringing me down,
Look again cause I ain't wearin' no frown!

I don't really care about your sister
Forget the little bitch 'cause I already kissed her
One thing that I did to your lady
Put her on the bed and she didn't say maybe
I know you know everybody knows
The way it comes, the way it goes
You think it's sad well that's too bad
'Cause I'm havin' a ball and never cared a thing about
You

Everything about you, everything about you
I get sick when I'm around
I can't stand to be around
I hate everything about you

General Comment:I think it is about a guy who is negative and goes through life not caring who he sleeps with. His negativity is who he is and hating is his outlet for whatever life ills that took a toll on him. Very sad in a way, but also uplifting that the guy is actually happy mired in his hatefulness and not having limitations of who he can have sex.

General Comment:I'm surprised that nobody interpreted it this way: Think about "you" as a metaphor of "Capitalism" or "American Way of life" or "biggots" etc. It's a hatred towards a concept not an individual. "Mother" can be "Mother Mary", "daddy" = "God", "Sister" = Nuns/religion"...Mainly "American way of life"...

General Comment:I like this song but judging by the comments I'm not sure many people understand it. It's a parody of teenage rebellion. This guy hates everything, you name it and he hates it. It's not meant to be taken seriously at all, it's just a fun catchy song.

General Comment:Yeah this song is timeless. Youthful, rebelious lyrics that I'm sure any teenage or 20-something can relate too. Not to mention the fact that it's one of the most catchy songs I've ever heard.

The voice at the beginning is Pat from old Saturday Night Live skits, he/she had her own movie too. Pat was really a chick though, Julia Sweeney.

General Comment:It was included in Wayne's World (in the background of the diner scene) however this dialogue never occured. I'd assume hellfirecan is correct with his statement

General Comment:riviera, apparantly this song is featured on the original Waynes World movie, so I'm guessing your idea of the dialog is correct
