    General Comment:I always assumed she was singing about Burlington, Ontario, her hometown because it's on the coast of Lake Ontario.

    But the traveling idea makes sense.

    Anyway, I absolutely LOVE this song. Probably my favourite by Sarah Harmer.

    General Comment:what a beautiful song...the lyrics are mesmerizing. I'm from Victoria, British Columbia and this song definetly reminds me of the West Coast

    I think this song is about a woman who travels to meet a guy, but things don't go well and she ends up having to leave..I've had a very similar thing happen with this one girl

    General Comment:this song reminds me of Prince Rupert, BC, where i grew up. the airport is on an island, so you fly in and then take a ferry and a bus to get into town. it does have the biggest port around, and it is one of the rainiest towns in BC, if not Canada. i have no idea if sarah has even been to Prince Rupert before, but on a personal level those are the memories that this song stirs up.

    where her friend lives, the friend that dissapoints her. but it's okay, he's been through a lot.
