Why the hell hasn't anyone commented on this song?

It doesn't matter what mood I'm in... this song always makes me cry. It's so beautiful... the piano and the emotion Kyo puts into his voice is just amazing. I love this song.

I agree with Mizerable_Vanilla. I think this song is truly a piece of work. I don't think I really have ever heard such a heart touching song such as "Ain't afraid to Die"...And when they die...I think I will only listen to this song...

T.T I love how Kyo sounded in this too!! It's such a beautiful song!! I personally think this song was about what someone saw or felt as they died. The PV was stunning. 7 1/2 minutes of beauty. Still, it was creepy how Kyo had his mouth sealed for the first half of the song... o.O oh hey, that's just the way he is though...

It's a sad song about somebody who died and the video is superb. Kyo had this very beautiful mournful voice.

*cries* this is sooo beoutifool. I mean kyo is a scary but cute little so&so, and this song always makes me want to cry. I want to find the piano score now. The vid was really good, and althoug its not as boring as I would have illustrated the song, it is still wonderfool. *runs off crying*

It's a cute song, I just started to listen to some jrock and this is probably one of my favorite bands to listen too. Although his voice gets rather annoying at sometimes.

IGNORE Deepshadow.
Kyo's voice is gorgeous, and so is this song. It's very bittersweet, but beautiful, and if you haven't listened to it.. you really should. It was originall meant to be on the Macabre album, but they decided it just didn't fit along with the other songs. It ISN'T a very typical Diru song. No loud, crazy, thrashing-about-ness.. but still absolutely worth a listen. And a second. And a twentieth.. >.>;

This song is just so... perfect! Kyo's voice is stunning, it's gorgeous and I'm going to ignore anyone who says something on the contrary *_* I adore the guitars, the guitar dueling between Kaoru and Die is awesome! Also I like Shinya's steady drumming throughout the song and Totchi's bass, which you can hear clearly on some points. And of course the piano and the violins... As I said, this song is so perfect and I love every aspect of it!
I recommend watching the 5 Ugly Kingdom live for this, that's really awesome! I love the crowds reaction when the first notes on the piano start, they start cheering like mad ^__^ I love watching the band during this live, they’re amazing. Just go watch it!

This is one of the if not the most emotionaly heartrecnhing songs that Dir en grey has ever made. It is simply amazing. For anyone who loves this song, i recomend finding the recording of this live from the 5 Ugly Kingdom DVD that was released. That performance of this song is sooo beautiful and filled with emotion, on top of that, Kyo's voice echos and rings so beautifuly and his voice all around is in verry good tone. Deffinately recomended to anyone just getting into Dir en grey!

Sings BAD? You must be joking.
His voice is a bit scratchy atfirst because it's very emotional, it sounds like how anyone would sound singing this song with real emotion.

His voice has never & will never.. ever.. sound BAD.

This song is absolutely AMAZING! I didnt really like it at first, but then i listened to it again and it made me cry! Just the emotion and Kyo's powerful voice are just wonderful. I love it!

This song... every time I listen to this song, I cry. It's so beautiful... the piano moves me, and Kyo's voice is just... wow.

This song actually reminds me of someone I lost not too long ago. So I'm kind of attached to it. ^_^;;

Its a beautiful song, and Kyo's voice in it is pretty good, there are times when it seems a little stressed, but listen ot any american band and thay all always sound like that. I loved the way they looked in the PV all... doll like... it's kinda sexy. The songs so sad though, i cry every time i listen to it.It sounds like a break up sondg though >.

Yea I'll admit they got the lyrics off, but not completely... like hte opening line is, from what i know " The way I used to walk with you is gone." though i've also heard dead instead of gone.

I heard that Kyo was actually engaged to a woman once, but she left him and went with some other guy. This must be the song where he sings about it...I was searching for this song ever since I heard that he sung about this woman, and I guess this must be it...very sad and emotional >.

Awesome song, But I think FtheSystem isn't think right. I think, If there is a song about his ex, than that song Must be Zakuro. (I think) Just listen it and read it's lyric...
