I look at you all, see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don't know why nobody told you
How to unfold your love
I don't know how someone controlled you
They bought and sold you

I look at the world and I notice it's turning
While my guitar gently weeps
With every mistake, we must surely be learning
Still my guitar gently weeps

I don't know how you were diverted
You were perverted too
I don't know how you were inverted
No one alerted you

I look at you all, see the love there that's sleeping
While my guitar gently weeps
I look, look at you all
Still my guitar gently weeps

Oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, oh, ooh

Yes, quiffporn is right......hehehe. Nice name, man. Not many people have alot to say about the song meaning. We all know the song is good, so stop going on about how good it is. Well, in this song he talking to alot of people. He is basically saying, what is wrong with you all? what happened to love? who "bought and sold" you? He is telling everyone to open they're fookin' eyes. He almost downgrades himself as well. He talking about very deep things then simply says "while my guitar gently weepes", as saying....."I'm just sitting here watching all you shit heads, but I'm just a musician, and can only tell you with a guitar and song". So hopefully you all know what I mean. If I made my interpretation of the song meaning clear enough. So start writting, and give me something to argue with....hehee.
