You don't wanna talk to me,
You don't wanna say the words,
You try to get off the hook,
You try to get off the hook.
Sprawling on a pin,
Hanging off the hook,
Trying to get yourself away,
Trying to get yourself away.

There's no use dwelling on,
On what might have been,
Just think of all the fun,
You could be having.

We know the way you talk,
We know what you want,
We know what you want,
What you really wanted.

Take a look around,
There's candles on the cake,
On what might have been,
The road you should have took,
Mistakes mistaken

There's no use dwelling on,
No use dwelling on.

It's such a beautiful day,
It's such a beautiful day,
Find yourself a ????,
Go and get some rest.

It's such a beautiful day.
It's such a beautiful day.
Go up to the mic,
Go up to the mic,
Go and get some rest.

General Comment:He's being sarcastic. He wants her but she's left him. He's not happy that his love has flown the coup (i.e."get some wings").

General Comment:Thom Yorke had a brief period in his life where he converted to judaism...this song is actually about a dreidel he received as a gift at a late life Bar Mitzvah...True Story!

General Comment:I'm not sure what this song is about. I don't think I have to be sure.

All I know is, when I listen to it while I'm happy, every note uplifts me, makes me feel that much happier. When I listen to it while I'm upset, every note stabs me right in the heart.

General Comment:This song is about seeing over that someting thats just got you down. Not sarcastic as others have said in the past. Its pure and simple. Pure and soft. This song is nice for driving on a day where you feel so content.

General Comment:I kind of feel Worrywort is about those in the world who get caught up in all the small things. Consequently they are brought down into a depression.

I feel Yorke and Co. try to emphasize the point in that it is impossible to evade all of these circumstances, but you have to enjoy life as it is presented to you.

General Comment:I think this is a song to himself. I've heard in an interview that he has terrible stage fright when he has to perform when its been a while without a show (the interview was right during the OK Computer tour, which this sounds like Kid A material so it would fit the time line). He said that once he gets out there though, it all melts away, this makes since in the context. Lines like "Trying to get off the hook" and "Trying to get yourself away" show his worry, yet he knows simply doing it will help "
There's no use dwelling on On what might have been Just think of all the fun You could be having". He then thinks about the remorse he would have later in life if he doesn't continue "Candles on the cake of what might have been". Thus he tells himself to get the courage, and thus its a wonderful day "It's such a beautiful day Go and get some wings". Anyway, thats how I viewed it. Its a wonderful, cathartic song either way.

General Comment:i don't think it says, "go find yourself a moment" either. i can't make it out, but it almost sounds like "don't find yourself an old ......" I can't even guess accurately on the last word, though. I could be wrong.

also, the last few lines should be:
    "go up to the mic,
    go up to the mic,
and go and get some wings."

with the last few lines being changed like that, i think it's fair to say this song might actually be about thom trying to get over depression or something bad that happened to him. he's telling himself to go up to the mic to speak his mind, or to sing to free himself and that's how he gets wings.

it could also just be him telling the "worrywort," the one being spoken to in the song, to go speak his mind rather than keep silent. after all, it starts by saying that the "worrywort" doesn't really talk to the speaker.
