Lonely in this white room, there are pads everywhere
Chafing straitjacket, I won't die in there
Save me smiling Jesus, get off that cross
Hate me screaming masses
I don't care if I'm lost
Don't tell me that you're all better
I don't care if you are Don't tell me that you're trendsetters
I don't care if you are

Lowly with my head bowed, there are rats everywhere
Feed me bread and water
I won't die in there
Save me smiling Jesus, get off that cross
Hate me screaming masses
I don't care if I'm lost

Don't tell me that you're all better
I don't care if you are Don't tell me that you're trendsetters
I don't care if you are

Say you will take my pills
Say you will faking ill

Don't tell me that you're all better
I don't care if you are Don't tell me that you're bed wetters
I don't care if you are
Say you will take my pills
Say you will faking ill
Say you will (say you will) take my pills (take my pills)
Say you will (say you will) faking ill

General Comment:Just heard an awesome interview...the title was inspired by a game owned by shauns stepmother.

General Comment:My interpretation of this song is that there are a lot of people out there who seem to think they know exactly how to live life. They preach to you and they put you down for the things that you do because they think that their way is the only way. People who aren't my family have preached to me about how I should live my life. And then they fall flat on their faces and have no clue as to what they are doing with their own life.

Jonthan Davis said it best: "you laugh at me because Im different, I laugh at you because you're all the same."

This song speaks to me that way because no one can honestly say they are better than anyone else. And if you honestly believe that because of your status in life or because of the things you do that you are better and should be held in higher regard, well then you need a reality check.

General Comment:To me, the "smiling Jesus" part isn't much about religion. The scenario I see is:

He's going through bad times (see other peoples' descriptions for more on that, lol) and one person is there for him. But they don't really help. They smile and tell him everything will be okay, and see themselves as Jesus Christ for being nice when everyone else hates him... but he needs more than that. This person ISN'T Jesus, they're cross ISN'T a cross. So get off it (stop smiling at me) and please just HELP me. That's what he really wants. Being smiled at isn't enough.

Song Meaning:I think this song is about sumbody trapped and is crying out for help. "Lonely in this white room, There are pads everywhere, Chaffing straight jacket, I Won't die in there" is him in an insane assylum or sumthing and he doesnt want to stay in there. "Lowly with my head bowed, There are rats everywhere, Feed me bread and water, i wont die in there" i think is the same thing except probly in a prison/jail. hes trying to get out and even turning to god for help.
When he asks to get out they say "Don't tell me that you're all better, I don't care if you are, Don't tell me that you're trendsetters, I don't care if you are" which means that they dont care if hes regretful for whatever hes done to land himself where he is, and im pretty sure "Trendsetters" is them refering to him being a good example to others becuse hes better.
im not positive on what "Say you will take my pills, Say you will, faking ill" means but i think its to do with the fact that since he believes he better he doesnt want to be taking things pill they've got him on, and faking ill is some sort of attempt for him to get out.

General Comment:The struggle is "everything which is bottled up inside"... Pills numb it... God cures it!

General Comment:He is begging for Christ to be in his life... Wants to have faith... It's all about the struggle... This is not a shot at Jesus... This is himself wanting to have strong faith so he can overcome but does not no how to do it!

    Trust me on this one...

General Comment:Hero of the Day: That's an excellent observation regarding Fine Again. I agree. Also agree with the interpretations of an experience in an institutional facility, probably a rehab clinic. I don't think he's talking to Jesus, except for that one part. The rest of the time I think he's talking to the trendsetters and bedwetters - other celebrities in the same clinic. Most clinics have group therapy sessions where they talk about their childhood and have "breakthroughs" so then they can tell the public they are simply "ill" - which is considered better than being an "addict". But Shaun sees how fake that is. He doesn't care about their "breakthroughs", he doesn't want to hear about their childhood, it pisses him off, maybe he doesn't take his pills, maybe he tries to talk someone else into taking his pills, and maybe that's why he ends up in the padded room. (?)

General Comment:Seether is the best band ever period, this is my favorite song from disclaimer. Morgan sounds a lot like cobain, vedder, and weiland. The acoustic album and Karma and Effect kick ass but Finding beauty sucks

General Comment:Hmm... the song title is odd in itself...
I mean, tea with 69? makes no sense >_>

All that I care is that its a great song.. but I WOULD like to know the meaning. "Save me sweet smiling Jesus, get off that cross.." sounds awfully blasphamous but are great lyrics.
