  General Comment:I just hope that this song might not give these dark ideas of commiting suicide. The ambience and the keyboard sound at the end, seems to somehow give me hope, and like if the message of the lyrics would symbolises the problem, and not give subliminal messages.

  General Comment:Kworb, i think your right, but not the best way out - i think they reckon its the only way out. A deadlock is when you cant win - like not winning in life? So life isnt worth living if you cant win, so the only thing they can do is commit suicide.
  
  And pinkfloyd, i always thought they said "the world around your neck", but i think your right, its "the rope".

  General Comment:in the middle of the song after the chorus does the backup singer sing \"With the rope around your neck, the rope around your neck!\"? i was just wondering because thas what i hear... well i love this song...
