She's into superstitions
Black cats and voodoo dolls
I feel a premonition
That girl's gonna make me fall

She's into new sensations
New kicks in the candlelight
She's got a new addiction
For every day and night

She'll make you take your clothes off
and go dancing in the rain
She'll make you live her crazy life
But she'll take away your pain
Like a bullet to your brain (come on!)

Upside, inside out
She's livin' la vida loca
She'll push and pull you down
Livin' la vida loca
Her lips are devil red
And her skin's the color of mocha
She will wear you out
Livin' la vida loca (come on!)
livin' la vida loca (come on!)
She's livin la vida loca

Woke up in New York City
In a funky cheap hotel
She took my heart and she took my money
She must've slipped me a sleepin' pill

She never drinks the water
Makes you order French champagne
Once you've had a taste of her
You'll never be the same
Yeah, she'll make you go insane (alright!)

Upside, inside out
She's livin' la vida loca
She'll push and pull you down
Livin' la vida loca
Her lips are devil red
And her skin's the color of mocha
She will wear you out
Livin' la vida loca (come on!)
Livin' la vida loca
She's livin la vida loca

She'll make you take your clothes off
and go dancing in the rain
She'll make you live her crazy life
But she'll take away your pain
Like a bullet to your brain (come on!)

Upside, inside out
She's livin' la vida loca
She'll push and pull you down
Livin' la vida loca
Her lips are devil red
And her skin's the color of mocha
She will wear you out
Livin' la vida loca (come on!)

Upside, inside out
She's livin' la vida loca
She'll push and pull you down
Livin' la vida loca
Her lips are devil red
And her skin's the color of mocha
She will wear you out
Livin' la vida loca (come on!)
Livin' la vida loca (come on!)
She's livin' la vida loca

Come on!
Gotta, la vida loca
Gotta, gotta, gotta La vida loca
Gotta, gotta, gotta la vi-

This song is exciting and has a great rhythm. Maybe the subject of the song is just as capricioius and flitting...

I was just randomly listening to this song earlier today. It reminded me of singing karaoke with an old friend of mine, her sister, and my sister a few years ago.

This song has such a fun beat. And I officially want to have sex with Ricky Martin. lol.

im not gay but the song appears to be about a young man who finds himself a bonny lass who he like to travel with but she appears to be useing him and leaves him out to drive.

Hate to admit it- but i've been stupid enough to fall for it aswell- but we didnt dance naked in teh rain... Livin' la vida loca means living the high life i think, and i just love losing myself to music, just forgeting it all and dancing in the rain rocks- but keep your clothes on if you don't wanna get arrested!

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
