i dont think the ring storu makes much sense... It just sounds like a love song. The whole song. And it doesn't have anything to do with a ring.
"Hey, the love of two
A desire, is whats for you
is it real? A lulliby?" doesnt that sound like he's in love and he cant believe the feeling, and he's asking if this is real, cos it's so much 4 him.

It's just the ring thing doesnt fit in... Are u sure?

really people need to ask themselves something you say that the lyrics didn't make sense with the story behind it but think about it a lot of stuff about Kurt didn't make sense

You know in www.digitalnirvana.net they say that this song has no name and that bambie slaughter is a different song that only appears on the REAL fecal matter tape. I can't say it's true but I would appreciate some comments.

My god. My version of this song really sucks, there's some annoying tapping in the back... But from what I CAN hear, it's a good song. Kurt's voice is pretty here.

this has nuthin to do with the song and im in a really random mood soo listen to my crap. you now the whole buddist belief that when u die u cum bak as another person, eny1 here could of been cobain in thier previous life, its a reli funky thought. oh and when i think of kurt cobain he reminds me of elvis, but a better and more modern make. they have simmerlarities- ino i didnt spell that rite. im reli curious about kurts mind and how he thought it soo cool.

Sorry about this double post...but has anyone noticed that it could be the demo for Tourette's off of In Utero? The lyrics are similar...mainly because he yells "Heyyyyyyyyy!"

This is not Bambi Slaughter it is unknown. The real Bambi Slaughter is on Fecal Matter which just got leaked. It is a great song. Really catch bass with Melvins like guitar play. Listen to fecal Matter at Nirvanaclub.com this is real not fake!

glad to hear kurt's voice in an unknown , unpopular song again by the way.. hope they will find lots of unheard pieces in his closet one day.. It could just pop up into existence you know.. It would really be great to listen to his feelings from the other side..

We know for sure that it's about a kid pawning his parent's wedding rings - Kurt said so himself. Well, he wrote it at least.

When Charles Cross wrote Heavier Than Heaven, he got access to the Fecal Matter demo lyrics and his journals. They both confirm this.
