Just when it falls apart
And when it's time to start
Will you sit down here for another day
And when it's time to be
All the things that we
Are wishing away for another day

'cause in my soul we know where we're goin
We're goin where the grass is free
The air is clean and the good times are growin'
So take me away just for today
'cause I'm sat here on my own
I'd like to be under the sea
Where they'd probably need a phone

And just when it falls apart
Just when it's time to start
Will you sit down here for another day

'cause in my soul we know where we're goin
We're goin where the grass is free
The air is clean and the good times are growin'
So take me away just for today
'cause I'm sat here on my own
I'd like to be under the sea
Where they'd probably need a phone
I could be you if I wanted to
But I've never got the time
You could be me
And pretty soon you will be
But you're gonna need a line

Need a line
Need a line
Need a line

General Comment:This is quite possibly my favorite Oasis song (at the moment.. it changes hourly) :]

It's adorable, I find, and the lyrics are lovely. Even the ones that don't make sense!

It makes me think of myself, and how I just want to break away to a better place, somewhere not here. You know? To me, it is talking about not being happy with where you are and dreaming of a better place, somewhere far away.

General Comment:WHO WROTE HERE THE UNCORRECT LYRICS OF THIS GREAT SONG? SHAME ON U!

Cos I'm sat here on my own -------> I'm SAD... (RIGHT)
Where they'd probaly need a phone -----> But I probably need a phone (RIGHT)

General Comment:One of the best Oasis songs. Definitely one of Noel's best performances aswell; talking of which, I think he should include this in his acoustic sets. Would work well alongside Talk Tonight and Cast No Shadow.

An underappreciated song as said above; it should be on The Masterplan and Stop the Clocks.

General Comment:"I'd like to be under the sea" is taken clearly from the Beatle's song Octopus' Garden written by Ringo Starr for the album "Abbey Road".

General Comment:Noel seems to mention 'take me away' so often in his songs: Roll with it, All around the world, Slide away, and obviously, in this song. It's probably based on the beatles 'magical mystery tour' on the lyrics 'the magical mystery tour is waiting to take you away - waiting to take you away'. I suppose Noel wants to be taken away by the beatles image, and what led them to be known across the globe as genius songwriters.
