Lyrics for Autumn Nocturne as interpreted by starla33

Autumn Nocturne Lyrics
rollin with the breeze
do what you please
I guess you'd say
we'll take the whole day
skip out of school
run around and act like
the fools that we are
ain't gonna do anyone any harm
train whistle at our backs
laid our pennies down the tracks
forget our cares
I guess you'd say
we'll take the whole day
go for a swim
dry off in the wind
the sun's goin' down so we better get back
it's too easy to stay
so lazy, hazy, maybe crazy
rollin' with the breeze
do what you please
so take it easy, yes, please
strollin' with the leaves

this is possibly the most upbeat song they've ever done. no wonder it never got onto mellon collie - it would have killed their images. anyways, that's what i think...

I think this song is brilliant, alot of the mellon collie demos were good enough to be put on another album.

If it was included in MCIS, I believe that I would go after Take Down. "the sun goin' down"

this song should of replaced that crap "take me down", god dang i hate that song it ruins that whole cd along with that crap "cupid de locke", thats why i made a new 1st disk of mellon collie in which i replaced cupid de locke with "ava adore" or whatever and take me down with "The End is The Beginning is The End"

The lyrics are very carefree, the melody upbeat. Very different, very fun!
