    General Comment:This song was released WAY before the movie but if you've seen High Tension you'd defnitely scratch your head the first time you've heard this. I am aware the song was writen 3 years.

    General Comment:Coincidently, I was completely infatuated with a woman named "Alex" when I heard this song for the first time.

    I was over at a friend's house and he told me to listen to this band called "Blonde Redhead" and he thought that maybe I'll like it because it's "different". So the first song he played for me was "In Particular" and as soon as I heard the initial beats, I immediately loved the song. Then the chorus came and I thought: 'Oh my God, is she saying 'Alex'??' and then BAM .. best song ever .. fit so perfectly with what I was feeling, it was insane.

    I also recently saw Blonde Redhead live in concert for the first time, and they played In Particular.. it was so very amazing. can't wait to see them live again

    General Comment:The lyrics are a reference to "A Clockwork Orange" which has a main character, Alex, who has a love for classical music, which turns to euphoria when he listens to it.

    General Comment:ok when i saw them live the first time, she was wearing a really small dress and she DROPPED her PICK.....the security guy had to come pick it up for her so it disruped the song a little bit :( but since then it was great live.
