  but i think its about a guy who goes to jail "yeah baby you know my hands are dirty"
  and he misses out on a lot of things "but i wanted to be your valentine" "didnt mean to miss your birthday baby"
  anyways is a beautiful song definately about giving love a second chance

  General Comment:when it says "and baby you know my hands are dirty" and then repeats it in the background, me & my best friend always sing that part...we get made fun of a lot, but its really funny. Anyways, this song has so much feeling and its so F'ing beautiful you cant help but love it.

  General Comment:Now I love this song, don't get me wrong. But it doesn't seem so much like second chances and beautiful relationship to me. It seems more like "I'm desperate to keep you in my life but refuse to truly commit myself to you". Love the pleading, but would it really be needed if he could keep it in his pants?

  My Opinion:IF u ask me it means him and his girlfriend or wife seperated and he knows he messed up and he is asking for
  forgiveness and he is telling her that he would live and die for her. If u really read the lyrics one time u
  will understand the song better.

  General Comment:great song. but i always thought "when you get drunk, ill be the wine" was "when you get drunk, ill be the ride". has anyone else thought of it be this way. or do i need hearing aids? lol. and bon jovi is pretty good and easy to sing to, unlike all these new rap songs that you cant even understand wat they are saying. lol good night;)
