punk, the generally accepted figure is that 6 million Jews died in the camps. That Dylan (and, evidently, you) only see Jewish deaths as worthy of recognition says quite a bit about how the American media is stacked.
I agree that Dylan was excellent in taking the speck of dust out of the eyes of men like Bush Sr. Unfortunately, people like Dylan-- e.g. Guthrie, Seeger et al. were not nearly as good at noticing (or caring about) the log in the eye of FDR, or Churchill, or Stalin. That was the point I was making.
