I've been coming here for years searching for the meanings to the songs that make up the sound track of my life. But it wasn't until 6 years (God I feel old) after hearing this song for the first time that it popped back into my head. Entering a new chapter, or burnt disk if you will, in my life I saw many parallels between my life currently and this masterpiece. If you've read any of the comments before mine you'll see how the song is pretty straight forward in what it means. But this is what it means to me. The only song that knows what it is to burn...

This song is about having someone that can completely relate to you and knows the struggles/pain. I love the intensity.
I remember as a teenager I wanted someone to "know what it is to burn," to have one person who completely gets you. Everything seemed so much more dramatic back then ;)
