Wash your face in the morning sun

Flash your pen at the song that I'm singing

Touch down bass living on the run

Make no sweat of the hole that you're digging

Wrap up cold when it's warm outside

Your shit jokes remind me of Digsy's

Be my magic carpet ride

Fly me down to capitol city in the sun

Kickin' up a storm from the day that I was born

Sing a song for me from let it be

Open up yer eyes get a grip of yerself inside

You betcha!

General Comment:I think the name comes from George Harrison talking about transcendental meditation

General Comment:this song means rock and roll - simple as that

i believe 'be here now' is a quote from john lennon to describe the meaning of rock and roll. This song is just about livin it up, havin a good time and not worrying too much about the past or the future - just living for the moment

    rock and fuckin roll

General Comment:Every oasis album is great. Best band in the world I can listen to every song they ever made (except supernova). Their b-sides from singles are just as good as album tracks. Just gotta go in with an open mind and not thinking "wonderwall"

General Comment:This song is fucking awesome and the beat just makes me stomp my foot to it. This song is a little on the badass side and is a pleasure to sing along with. The bass in this song is immense and the guitar rock-out in the bridge and the end gives me chills sometimes it's so good. It's one of the shorter ones on Be Here Now and also one of my favorites off of it. They do this song awesome live, too, when they used to play it.

General Comment:This is definitely one of my favourites off Be Here Now, although i love "Stand By Me" and "All Around The World". I think Be Here Now was a great album and it just copped so much crap because everyone was expecting it to be absoluelty fucking brilliant, after Definitely Maybe and Morning GLory, because i don't think it is as good as them

General Comment:I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves the album Be Here Now, I was kinda shocked at how much criticism the album got... i was absolutely blown away by Be Here Now, I think it's the most amazing album... and the title track makes me think of summer mornings when you go out and you feel like you're the best thing ever, a great feel good song

General Comment:Oh - people must have notice that they borrowed some elements from other Oasis songs on this song. There's the "ow ow, yeah yeah yeah!" stuff near the end of this song, which is from "Columbia," and the weird water gushing thing which was on "Champagne Supernova." I have the feeling that there is some weird inside joke in this song that we don't know about.
