Now you keep calling me
On the telephone
Telling me you're all alone
Well that's so sad

And you keep leavin'
Notes stuck on my door
Guess you're hungry for some more
Girl that's too bad

'Cause I ain't that lonely yet
No I ain't that lonely yet
After what you put me through
I ain't that lonely yet

Now once there was this
Spider in my bed
I got caught up in her web
Of love and lies

She spun her chains
Around my heart and soul
Never to let go
But I survived

'Cause I ain't that lonely yet
No I ain't that lonely yet
After what you put me through
I ain't that lonely yet

There's nothing left
That you can do
To try and bring me 'round
'Cause everything you do
Just brings me down

'Cause I ain't that lonely yet
No I ain't that lonely yet
After what you put me through
I ain't that lonely yet

Hey I ain't that lonely yet
No I ain't that lonely yet
After what you put me through
I ain't that lonely yet

General Comment:This song recently hit home and actually made me laugh. Girlfriend ended things I still wanted to make things work she said there was no way possible. "We need to date other people to see if this is what we want" 2 weeks after we broke up she was all over some guy and I decided that night I needed to move on. It has been 3 months since we broke up I have been dating other girls and just sent me some messages wondering how I could move on so quick and how it hurts and was my "replacing" her a way of getting back at her?I told her that it was her actions that put me where I am now. So "You keep calling me on the telephone" and "guess your hungry for some more well thats too bad" is perfect for my situation.

General Comment:I totally agree. The more you listen to this song, the more you realize he keeps telling himself that he doesn't want to take her back when he really does. One of my favorites

General Comment:a brilliant song, one of my all time favourites. As for the meaning, its pretty self-explanatory, a woman hurts him and now wants him to take her back. I think its a little bit deeper than that; he is really tempted and the whole song is him talking to himself, telling himself that she is bad for him and he needs to forget about her. Very well written and beautifully sung.
