    My Interpretation:Somebody who is feeling trapped by the confines of society and the world around them. According to James LaBrie, the person in the song has decided that they've had enough with trends and fads and popular culture, and that this person is completely in need of expressing his or her differences with the rest of the world. The differences between this person and the others could be small, or it could be vast. It sounds like this person has spun his or her own web.

    General Comment:It's also about Hallucinagenic drugs, my guess would be either DMT the Web being a common thing you get on DMT and it's can be like another world as one person said the "Sprit world"
