one of my favorite songs on the cd. i really like the duality of the upbeat sound and dark lyrics. pretty sure this is a song about drugs...anyways, if you haven't already, i would highly recommend seeing these guys live if you have the chance, they put on an incredible show for such a new band

yup i bet its about drugs because i think the title is refering to angeldust. and "the blue ones make me fall" and "fall on your tounge like pixie dust" and all the "flying" yea its drugs

I saw MCR recently on tour with Finch and was blown away. I picked up the cd and this song is probably my favorite. It just has a great beat.

MCR is coming here with from autumn to ashes.. i just love how this band can be as dark as they are and not still make you feel shit afterwards. especially with this song.

when he talks about pixie dust.. hes talking about peter pan.. ya know when he puts pixie dust on them and he tells them to think happy thoughts so they can fly.. thats what he means.. not drugs

its about suicide mainly.ive followed MCR for awhile now and im pretty close with the band,so yea but the drugs could be adding to the suicide im not saying anyones wrong

good i'm so glad some one else thought peter pan. I definitely see where people are coming from with the drug references, but he's talking about pixie dust and flying home. he repeats over and over to himself "think happy thoughts" just like peter pan did in order to fly

after seeing MCR a couple of weeks ago, they explained what the song is about and it is as follows...its about when you're depressed enough that you are right on that brink of suicide and how you should think about the good things in your life and not always the bad, the pills hes talking about are anti-depressants. "Think Happy thoughts"? come on, it's not that hard to read in to. They said they wrote this for all the people out there who are just so down on theirselves, that they want to end their lives and that they wanted to make people happy, hence the upbeat tempo and the Think Happy thoughts.

It's about anti-depressants and suicide. basicly, it's an anti-suicide song. They band wrote this song quickly and Gerard added the dark lyrics to make it fit in with the rest of the album. Amazing song.

Whoaaa. Funny seeing that post after such a long time. I'm Ashley, not Amy, but I have a really good friend from the board named Amy.
I love how at every show I've seen with them they always announce suicide hotline numbers and try to talk to the kids about suicide before singing this song. It makes me have so much respect for these guys, and it shows how they take what they do to the next level - which is a good thing. I love them, with all of my body.

I love how the lyrics are so sad and depressing but the tempo of the song is upbeat. And I love the clapping!!

the song i think is just about anti-depressants and suicide being Gerard has been in therapy for a while and it could be due to great depression,as shown in his amazing lyrics... but the peter pan twist could be an inspiration.

I agree with everyone who said it`s about drugs and/or suicide. IMO, I really, REALLY dont think this is about Peter Pan. That just seems out of the ordinary, but oh well, if it is, than I guess Gerard is an unordinary person (even though he is anyways in the good sense). I love the guitar work in this song, it fucking owns. And I agree with jetsetlife, how the song is so upbeat and cheerful, but the lyrics are so depressing.

The main purpose of this song is to basically be the most ironic song about suicide with it's upbeatness. I love it and it really shows how My Chemical Romance stand out from the majority of today's bands. I wish kids would stop convincing themselves that their lives or so bad, suicidal kids are fucking annoying.
