I think this song has 9-11 references. "I wanna go to sleep at night again" may reflect the fear of the time terrorists were thought to rule

Can anybody give me a link to the complete mp3? Everytime I try to download it on Kazaa, it is either a looped version that fades with the chorus, or a totally different song from a totally different band, that sounds like Staind on cocaine. Thank you.

I agree with Punkchica (so YOU took my first choice of a name -.- ....its aiight) and Concept....well i have a problem downloading some SoCo songs...like I want to Save You, If I die and a few others, its just the looped verision...some reason, i think its because they're on Leaving through the Window...even though i dont have any logic for that....
But i agree with Punk and the part about never getting set free is how i feel when i write now, its like whatever i say is just a word off and it screws the meaning around...yah know?

argh, downloading the songs is lame,...i bought the cd in a store here in germany, fuckin' us import for 19,99 Euro, but i've no problem with it, the album is fantastic, only great ! i love it.....

i noticed the 911 thing too, maybe he heard the news on the radio and got all torn up, and worried about his friends. but its a great song regardless, its like how you feel like theres nothing good in the world, and its all bad. i could really relate to it a coupla months back i went thru a spell of thinkin evryone is bad and that theres never gonna be any good news. But i guess its called growing up and learning to deal and be happy with whatever you've got.

this song is one of my absolute favorites by them, besides Konstantine, Cavanaugh Park and Astronaut. I love the way it says:

That is my absolute favorite part of the song. Something Corporate know how to make great music, and make the songs last throughout time.

This is one of my favorites by SoCo. One time I went through a trial in my life and when I heard the lyrics:

i just started crying uncontrollably. I really felt this song. SoCo rocks, they can convey so much emtion in their music.

i just listened to this song on the way home from a weekend of partying too hard for the hundredth week in a row. i want to go to sleep at night again it makes me realize how crazy my life has become and it just makes me want to be little again, and chase the ice cream man or something.

SoCo has a way with making u picture what was goin thru their heads when they wrote this song. Like theres this guy who...like alot of other people have already said...see the world thru these new eyes and just notices how much reality sucks. I dont think it has anything to do with 9-11, but more of a relationship gone bad that made them relaize that nothing else is much better than his relationship...their castles are fallin

i wrote an essay on this song, so i had to completely analize it and listen to it around a hundred times, i really dont think it has anything to do with 9-11. i pretty much discovered that its about a girl who grew up with and got accustomed to an innocent and positive media. This positive media included Disney-type influences, with feel-good plots and happy-ending stories. Now later in life she cannot deal with the real world. She feels it lacks simplicity and stability, for it is nothing like what she dreamt it would be when she was young.
“she’s trapped inside her room with reruns on the screen old books and movies”-means she wants to live again in her innocent past with her old books and movies
“but i can’t look into the street without everything changing”-means the girl lacks stability in her life, but cannot find it in a rapidly changing world.
“she lines her walls with every paper she can see”-means the girl is trying to get her mind off the situation in the world and the lack of good news
chorus echoes how the girl wants good news, wants to be innocent again, but nothing good is happening. The girl wants a happy ending to her life, just like in her childhood stories. She also wants to be innocent and not understand what is happening in the world, just to live in her own simple, stable world.
“castles are falling”-symbolic of all the girl’s innocent childhood dreams, with princesses, fairies, and happy-endings, that are not being realized after she grew up
“she’s trapped inside her room”-means she is trapped mentally in that she cannot deal with the extent, chaos, speed, and magnitude of the outside world
and wow that came out long
