It doesn't matter who you are, what you wear, or where you live .. every person needs a sence of love in their life, so why not go hug someone stranger (:

  General Comment:i agree with above posters on how this song speaks about love as such a universal and precious gift. if you see the video, the message of the song becomes incredibly phenomenal. love is about taking risks, seeping it all in and giving it your all. it surrounds you and will inevitably embed into your soul. it's so much greater than any pessimistic emotion we've ever felt, or any materialistic possession that we might own. all you really need is love. such an amazing song, i couldn't thank dmb enough for this.

  General Comment:I used to think this song was annoying, however, I needed a pick me up after being dumped by my fiance in a text message and living a life that is consumed with so much to do, I completely identified with the video and the song. It "picked" me up and showed that in a world of so much, "all you need is" love! Be it, love from a stranger, a friend or lover, or God, or Jesus, whatever. Simplistic, yes--stupid? Not to those who need it in this crazy world. So the ones with the aggressive, nasty opinion toward the song, you might change your mind someday after experiencing too much nastiness in the world. Or you might just keep that negative hatred going. That's what I got from it today. Tomorrow I might hate it.

  General Comment:I'm in love with DMB. Every single song is amazing. No matter if it's old or new. I don't givva fuck. My best friend sent me this song when i was sad and he told me it always made him feel better. I fell in love with DMB then. Now I listen to this song when i'm doing my hair and dance around singing. It is indeed really happy and it makes me smile.
  
  idk if that has to do anything with what it's about but hey. I thought it was a good story.
