anytime Im feeling down or anything other than happy, warm and fuzzy, I just sing along with any of their live tracks of When The World Ends (currently Live tracks Vol 10 for me) and Im instantly smiling and grooving along with Dave and the boys. There is no place in your soul that this song wont clean the negativity from.

I love the message of corporal to spiritual transformation in the lyrics.
This totally goes beyond the body having sex. It's about the mind, the soul in rapture. This is about life after death.
And the groove, not to mention his vocal stylings--sexy as hell--or heaven. You decide. It is definitely passionately destructive, like the process of shedding the cocoon to complete total metamorphosis and begin a new life--after "death."

so to follow a thread about the existence of someone in a vacuum of nothingness...we must change our thoughts from a physical "world" to the spiritual "world".
mountains are expressed here as symbols of power.
powers such as envy and bitterness and strife and malice and hatred. dave is describing himself as rescuing another from their inability to oversome these powers that are against them.
their spiritual "world" that this "baby" or "lover" exists within that contains these powers that must be overcome is changing with the interjection of grace, and mercy, and love that dave is applying.
dave describes it as floating across these "mountains" as they together watch them fade away to nothing.
rendering these "mountains" powerless.
this can only be a spiritual "world" with spiritual mountains being described.
certainly not a physical world.
dave cant physically exist without a physical world.
