I Swear Metallica Fans Are The Quickest To Criticize Everything Metallica Does. Bands Should Experiment And Try A Different Approach In Their Music Every Once In A While. Selling-Out Is A Shitty Insult Made-Up By Stupid Fans So They Could Criticize The Bands They Like Whenever They Did Something They Did Not Want Them To Do. Come On...Metallica Never Does Wrong, And Neither Does Anyone Else That Is Criticized For Trying Something New. Life Is About Trying New Things And This Song Is About That Too. If You Limit Yourself To One-Side Of Metallica...Then Your Not A True Metallica Fan At All, And Your Not Living Life In The Motorbreath Way...Song STill Kicks Ass Though.

    General Comment:I agree with all of you; the song is about living fast/taking risks etc.

    But an interesting detail is that James says in a live gig that "This song is dedicated to a road crew, who're making 3 shows in one day happen"

    General Comment:how is this song about anything but cocaine? Tallica has admitted to being users, during this period mind you, and there are strait foreword lines through out the whole song. give up, its about drugs.

    General Comment:no drugs. i think its just about going full speed ahead. not so much copying the meaning of motorhead, but definitely influenced the title. btw i love the motorhead covers on Garage Inc, especially overkill, which reminds me of this song. and lastly if you dont like metallica now you never liked them so make like a tree and get the f*** out of here.

    General Comment:i think mototr breath is when your like panting heavilly after you did somthing really exciting like the afterrush what leads me to blieave this song is about doing things your way and not giving a fuck what other people think
