I think this about as hard as it may be, owning up to mistakes you've made in the past head on.

The song is about a close friend or any woman really being assaulted and wanting to forget. The name I think is because strawberry looks like blood but it could be an inside thing. Regardless this song really hits hone for me and I find Kathleen's work very healing and empowering.

To me, it isn't about a loner and a ghost, its about a psycho guy who killed a girl he was obsessed with and is keeping her dead body in his room and doing questionable things with it.

"I don't care I walk in and go right up the stairs To my room, get in bed and just wait for dark Because that's when the real show start" (Meaning the only place he can take out the body is in his room at night)

"So young and pretty it's too bad she past" (Meaning shes dead but not yet dicomposed)
"And I kiss her cold lips until the morning come" (Her lips are cold because shes dead)
"But I do love a ghost and at least that's somethin' She don't talk much, when she do it gets cold Usually we just lay there and we hold each other" (He refers to her as a ghost because shes died. She doesn't speak much because shes dead. And they lay holding eachother because shes dead so she can't really do anything else cause shes dead)
"One of my mother's cats jumped up on the covers And it scared my baby, guess she don't like pets So I twisted it's fuckin' head off at the neck" (Cat was most likely eating the body as that's what they do with dead bodies)
"She slips me the tongue and it tastes like bacon" (Shes finally starting to discompose)
"Uh oh, something's wrong baby's upset She told me she was spotted by the neighbor's kid She can't come back now 'cause they know our secret Unless I can make them keep it" (The neighbors kid saw him with the body and he has to kill him to make sure no one else tells anyone)
As for the end where she stops coming back, I think its because of this line "She can't come back now 'cause they know our secret", and he realized that murdering the family was an even bigger chance of being found out than having a dead body.
I think the words speak for itself!

Everyone get this wrong. The Devil was both a contestant and the judge of the contest. You think He knows how to work that to His advantage? Of course. He’s the Devil. But the Devil is a fiddle player and was so impressed by Johnny’s fiddling that it broke His heart to see him playing on such a substandard fiddle. Of course, Johnny never would have accepted a gift from the Devil, so the Devil devised a little contest that Johnny was sure to win because the Devil was the one judging it. It was an extremely classy way to give charity to a deserving violinist without making him feel like he’s getting charity. That Devil is a classy fellow.

It’s obvious once you see it. He’s known her a long time and loves her, but she’s shying away. He’s leaving in a day or two for college, the Army, a job in another city, whatever, so it’s now or never. “You’re all the things I’ve got to remember” He’ll think of her every day after he’s gone. “Say after me: It’s no better to be safe than sorry” If we leave this undone, we’ll regret that, and we’ll regret it even more than we’d regret having a two-day romance where one or both of us gets hurt. Protecting ourselves from that hurt, but...

“Kyrie Eleison” is Greek for Lord have Mercy. Anyone who is a member of the Greek Orthodox Church (or Orthodox Church) can tell you that during the Divine Liturgy there are frequent times when Kyrie Elesion is said. The Liturgy starts out with the Priest saying “In the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit let us pray” and then goes on to list the prayers which the Chanter and the people reply “Kirie Elesion” as a reply to each prayer.

I've been on a wellness journey recently, and one therapy that caught my attention was peptide therapy ways2well.com/health/peptide-therapy. It's claimed to deliver some impressive benefits, such as anti-aging and immune system enhancement. At first, I was skeptical but after going through a comprehensive resource I found online, I'm seriously considering giving it a try. If anyone has had any personal experience with this, I would love to hear your thoughts!
